The stoning of Stephen is the first recorded death of a Christian martyr. The Bible calls him, "a man full of faith and power." After his arrest for preaching the Word, he preached to the ones who arrested him. Pretty bold.
What has caught my attention is the way he handled death. Instead of blaming or even cursing the stoners, he asks the Lord not to hold them accountable.
Why don't we handled persecution as gracefully, Perhaps the reason is that Stephen was full of faith and power. I believe that, as we live out what we believe, we become more like Stephen, and like Christ.

I would love to have that much faith to ..but it hard to if you don't have your heart in the right place ....thats why i'm glade i have been saved bye the blood of JESUS....
