Today's Reading: Romans 6:18
"Servants of righteousness." Have you ever thought of yourself in that way? Its hard to imagine in my daily life that I am a servant of righteousness. Like everyone else, I am definitely not perfect, and often struggle with my biggest enemy: myself.
The original word used for servant was "douloo," which means to bring into bondage. So I guess that really means we are slaves to righteousness. As a slave, I have sold myself into bondage. The cost was my choice of lifestyle, and the reward was freedom from sin.
