Today's Reading: Ephesians 4:4-6

Today, too many people preach division in the church. Catholics talk about the Penecostals, Penecostals talk about the Baptists, Baptists talk about the Methodists, and so on. It has been this way for hundreds of years, a church divided.

Paul addresses this division in his letter to the Ephesians. He reminds us that there is one Lord, one Spirit, one body, and one faith. There aren't many doors that lead to Heaven, but only one: Christ Jesus.

The only question should be whether or not a person has a relationship with Jesus. Not with their pastor. Not with their denomination. But with Christ. Since His death is the payment for our sin, it is only through Him that we can be saved. Not through a pastor. Not through a denomination.

As long as we seek Him, and His glory, we do the will of our Father. We learn about Him through His scriptures, not through the opinions of others. When we seek to please the denomination or the pastor, we choose them over Christ.

Please feel free to comment, and God bless.
